An energy harvesting technology controlled by ferromagnetic resonance

چکیده

We have successfully demonstrated electrical charging using the electromotive force (EMF) generated in a ferromagnetic metal (FM) film under resonance (FMR). In case of Ni80Fe20 films, charge due to EMF FMR can be accumulated capacitor; however, amount is saturated well below limit capacitor. Meanwhile, Co50Fe50, capacitor and increases linearly with duration time. The difference between Co50Fe50 films respective magnetic field ranges for excitation. When FM were equivalent thermal states during experiments, could maintain detuned condition, while outside excitation range. generation phenomenon an used as energy harvesting technology by appropriately controlling conditions film.

Energy Harvesting Enhancement by Vibrational Resonance

The idea to use the environmental energy to power electronic portable devices is becoming very popular in the last years. In fact, the possibility to do not depend only on the batteries can give to the devices longer operating periods in a fully sustainable way. Vibrational kinetic energy is a reliable and widespread environmental energy, that makes it a suitable energy source to exploit. In th...

An Inductorless Self-Controlled Rectifier for Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting

This paper presents a high-efficiency inductorless self-controlled rectifier for piezoelectric energy harvesting. High efficiency is achieved by discharging the piezoelectric device (PD) capacitance each time the current produced by the PD changes polarity. This is achieved automatically without the use of delay lines, thereby making the proposed circuit compatible with any type of PD. In addit...

Energy Harvesting Technology for Maintenance-free Sensors

Energy harvesting is a technology that gathers energy such as sunlight, artificial light, and vibration and heat from machinery to obtain electric power. Applying this technology to wireless sensor modules in a machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless sensor network will eliminate the need for grid-based power and primary batteries and create new value in the form of maintenance-free, battery-free, an...

Ferromagnetic Resonance

Ferromagnetism is used to characterize magnetic behavior of a material, such as the strong attraction to a permanent magnet. The origin of this strong magnetism is the presence of a spontaneous magnetization which is produced by a parallel alignment of spins. Instead of a parallel alignment of all the spins, there can be an anti-parallel alignment of unequal spins. This results in a spontaneous...
